GROUP

"The idea of working in group is sometimes a little intimidating to people, but it offers a type of personal process that is completely unique. It often supports more rapid growth than one to one work alone, and it is also a wonderful way to access healing resources and therapeutic guidance when our finances restrict us from being able to work one to one with a skilled professional. Group can also be a fanastic resource for those of us currently out of one to one intensive, looking for a gentle holding container to support continued growth.

More importantly though, many of us grew up in forms of emotional isolation and unfortunately, it is not uncommon that the healing journey becomes in some way an extension of that isolation - it can be a lonely path when others around us aren't committed to therapeutic process or spiritual pursuit. Having the opportunity to be welcomed in to a safe space, to learn and grow alongside others of like mind is incredibly powerful and inspiring. We need each other. " - Aimee Rai

SANGHA STUDY GROUP

Sangha is spiritual community, and traditionally it is considered a vital ingredient on the path of authentic spiritual pursuit. As westerners an increasing number of us like to think of ourselves of spiritual and have a genuine interest in spirituality. Very few of us however have had an introduction to spirituality outside of a commercial environment, therefore we have little understanding of what it even means to live an authentically spiritual life and work towards awakening.

This group is designed to bridge the gap between our spiritual aspirations and our actions - it is an invitation to learn both the view and practices of the mystical and potent traditions of classical tantra and Tibetan Buddhism. Please note that tantra in this context has nothing to do with the sexual neo-tantra we see flooding the commercial arena at this time. Aimee has been teaching meditation to students of all levels for the last 11 years, is a long term practitioner of classical tantra and a student of Geshe Tenzin Zopa (Unmistaken Child)

We meet bi-weekly on a Tuesday evening at 19.00 for 90 minutes. Each week we will explore a different aspect of scripture or teaching alongside a supporting meditation practice. You are welcome to leave the group at any time, but a monthly commitment and subscription of £50 is necessary to join. Those who wish to make a deep commitment to a holistic process this year and feel called to attend every Tuesday evening - both therapy and sangha groups - can join for a reduced combined fee of £80 a month.
